Closely, Eli follows behind Michael up the stairs to his apartment. Tonight has been one of fantastic, between the champagne and the socializing, he's had a good night. Still, he isn't complaining about the fact that he and Michael had elected to duck out early from the party. That now it's going to be just the two of them. That none of the lingering weirdness from their first date is left between them now. He loosens the tie on his suit, feeling a little more at ease, as they step into the apartment. It's not that late, but it has been a long week.
Most of Michael's warnings about the state of his apartment fall on deaf ears. Because Eli is scooping out the place as soon as he walks inside, looking for what, he isn't sure exactly. Maybe just wanting to see where Michael spends most of his time, if it looks the way he imagined it. It's tidy, maybe not Eli's kind of tidy, but not bad. It's definitley low-key. Not quite what someone may expect from a doctor with his own practice.
Eli still likes it. "Definitely couldn't been worse I think, and either way I believe I'm willing to give you a free pass," he says.
