There's a part of Michael that's terrified that what he means by it not
always being like this is that it's usually better, more secure, but
something about the look, the touches, even the little lip bite which is
quite possibly the sexiest thing he's ever seen in his life. "I'm not
complaining either, I just want to make sure that...well, I know that this
is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I don't want it to end."
The word "ever" hung on his lips, but he thought that might be a bit too
much, too soon. Instead, he leaned down and kissed Eli again, pressing in
so they were chest to chest.
